During the course of the game, the player can also make use of so-called “ insurance". This means that the player can use the insurance if the dealer draws an Ace as the first card. When using the insurance, the player pays half the amount of his bet. If the dealer gets Blackjack - ie 21, with his cards, the player wins his double insurance and loses the bet. So the player goes plus minus zero on this particular solution. However, if the dealer does not receive Blackjack, the player will lose his insurance. However, as this amount is less than the stake, the loss to the player is less. One disadvantage of using the insurance is that the player cannot win by having better cards than the dealer, but only by the dealer getting Blackjack. If the player is lucky to get the hand Blackjack, that is, an Ace and a card worth 10, immediately on the first hand, the player wins 1.5 times his bet.
